Talking Writing is the Centre’s regular themed writing event, designed to explore the limits of what writing is and where it can take you. For each event a selection of writers are invited to share and discuss their work in relation to the chosen theme. Previous Talking Writing events have included: Callan Park Stories, Who’s Writing Who?, Lebanon, Weird Sydney, Refugee Stories, Who Is Alice Campion, and Lyrics on the Lawn.
Talking Writing generally occurs on a Thursday from 6:30-8:00pm, with cheese and wine served from 6:30 and talks beginning at 6:45pm. Tickets for non-members are $10 through Eventbrite. Members can RSVP for free entry at firstname.lastname@example.org and are welcome to bring along a friend at no extra cost by including them in the RSVP.
