Quantum Words 2018

Call for submissions to Quantum Words 2018!

The NSW Writers’ Centre is excited to announce its biennial science writing festival, Quantum Words, will be taking place on 3 November 2018. Submissions open Monday 16 April.

Festival Director and science writer Jane McCredie is looking to program a dynamic mix of established and new voices that reflect the diversity of the field.

Submissions are welcome from science writers, scientists who write, publishers, agents or anyone else with a passion for writing about science, and could cover roles such as panel speakers, chairs, mentors, assessors or workshop leaders—other ideas are also encouraged!

To register your interest, please send your name, address, telephone and website details to [email protected].

Submissions must be a single A4 page or less, and include details of your publication experience, any upcoming releases around the time of the festival and suggested panel topics or specific areas of expertise.

Submissions open Monday 16 April and close Sunday 3 June. The Festival program will be released in September 2018.
