Writing NSW Writer & Technologist Grant

The Writer & Technologist Grant is awarded by the NSW Writers’ Centre to foster connections between writing and technology. The grant supports a NSW-based writer and technologist wishing to work together on a joint writing-related project that helps to foster a vibrant, diverse and innovative writing culture in NSW.

The writer and technologist must apply jointly for the grant of $2000 ($1000 each). Technologists may work in any field of technology, including medicine, mathematics, science, engineering or IT. Writers may work in any genre and be at any stage of their writing career.


Funding available: $2000 plus GST ($1000 each for the writer and technologist)

Opening date: 3 July 2017
Closing date: 30 July 2017
For project period: 1 February 2018 to 31 December 2018

Applications must be submitted online through the Arts NSW SmartyGrants system by midnight on the closing date. You will need a SmartyGrants login.
