Monday Night Childrens’ Writers

7.30-9.30 pm, 1st and 3rd Monday of the month
We are a serious, experienced and supportive critiquing and workshopping group. Our members cover the spectrum of Childrens and YA writing and many of us have achieved publication. Please bring copies of your work to be looked at and commented on (1000 words or less).

Picture This

7.30 – 9.30 pm, 4th Monday of the month and 7.30 – 9.30 pm, 2nd Thursday of the month
Picture this is a group of aspiring children’s picture book writers. We get together to inspire and encourage one another by giving constructive feedback on each other’s work. It’s a support and critique group for all those interested in breaking into the picture book industry.

Tuesday Night Writing for Children

Tuesdays 7.30 – 9.30 pm, meeting fortnightly
We aim to improve our skills in writing for children. Members bring work to read to the group for critiquing. We range across picture books, chapter books and YA writing.

Picture That

1 – 3 pm, 1st Saturday of the month
Picture That is a group of aspiring children’s picture book writers. We get together once a month to critique each others’ work and to share knowledge acquired through classes, research and observation. It’s a support group, a critique group, and a sounding board for all those interested in breaking into the children’s picture book industry.
