Spaces for Writers
Sometimes it can be hard to find a quiet place to write – away from family, internet and the distractions of home (ever noticed that nothing ever needs to be tidied until it’s time to sit down and get some writing done?). Our writing rooms are situated in the beautiful and peaceful Garry Owen House in Callan Park and are a great place to go when you need to find that much-needed quiet and concentration.
This is a members only service and there is no cost involved. Come to the Centre and spend time on your project. Our members’ library, containing a large writers’ reference section, is just a short walk down the hall.
This service is only available during office hours, 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 1pm on Saturdays. Bookings are essential, though casual. Just give us a call on (02) 9555 9757 to see if the room is free. Alternatively, you can email us.
