Writers’ Group Open Night

Are you interested in joining a writers’ group, but struggling to decide which one is the best fit? Perhaps you’re eager to start your own writing group but don’t know how to get started.

Take the first step by attending one of our Writers’ Group Open Nights, held at the start of each year. These events are completely free and open to members and non-members alike.

The 2018 Open Night included a keynote presentation from Katrina Roe, writer and member of the Monday Night Children’s Writers Group, who shared her experiences on being part of a writing community.

Representatives from our open writing groups then chatted more about how their sessions run and what makes their groups unique. They also shared the secrets to their success with those in the audience who are keen to start a new group. The event was followed by networking drinks, courtesy of Bibliotheque Wines.
